Westminster & The Churchill War Rooms Tour
Half Day Tour 4 Hours (Can be extended to 8 hours)
Your personal guide will meet you at your central London hotel at either 9:00 am or 1:00 pm and will discuss what your tour will entail. This is a good time to discuss any requests or changes you would like to make to the itinerary.
This half day tour will start with a walking tour around the City of Westminster. Here you will see the corridors of power. Westminster is home to the UK government. Within just one street you will see 10 Downing Street, the home of the UK’s prime minister, the ministry of defense, the treasury, the war office and offices of the Army navy and Royal Air Force. Your personal guide will enlighten you with the history and stories behind these buildings.
Your personal guide will then take you down to The Cabinet War Bunker, better known as Churchill,s War Rooms. See the secret rooms and offices that were at the heart of the operations of WW2. Your guide will also tell you how this basement of the treasury building became so important to the war.

Transport:
This is a walking tour. This is a great way to see and experience the capital. If preferred we can also provide a sedan or passenger van where you will have a guide and a chauffeur. Our quotation will include both options.

Your private guide will meet you at your central London hotel or apartment. You can either finish the tour here or any other central London location.
